About Us

At Retro Media Digitizers, we believe that, in every tape, in every photo, there is a precious memory. And the worst thing possible would be to leave those memories on decaying forms of media and never get to enjoy them again. The average person isn’t going to have a slide projector, a reel-to-reel machine, or even a VCR player anymore so all of those slides, reels, and tapes are either on borrowed time or are already outdated. Even if they can still be played, physical forms of media are incredibly susceptible to horrible things like fading, flooding and fires.

That’s where we come in.

Digitizing allows you to take your memories and organize them in a way that lets you relive them as much as you want, whenever you want. We are a small, family owned business that is dedicated to treating your memories with the same respect and excitement as if they were our own. All our digitizing is done with our own hands in our own home, not in some huge warehouse somewhere where you’re just one of thousands. We started this company because we wanted to help people take back their memories and pass them down to their children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren. We encourage you to begin the fantastic journey of preserving your memories, and we’d be honored to help you do just that.

Remember, it’s not old.

It’s retro.

Meet Our Team

Micah Durling

I’m Micah Durling — Co-founder and Co-Owner of Retro Media Digitizers. I love Jesus, my family, and cinematography. And other things too. Like ice cream. I love ice cream.

When I was a kid I wanted to either be an actor, or a pilot. Today I make videos and I’m a licensed drone pilot; so I’m close…kinda. In any case, I love what we do here at Retro Media. It’s more than just digitizing photos, we get to really know our clients and help them put their best foot forward in the digital space.

Rebecca Durling

I’m Rebecca Durling — Co-founder and Co-Owner of Retro Media Digitizers. I wear many shoes in a day. I’m known as a Christ follower, wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend, business partner, piano teacher, and chief toilet scrubber! I am the R to the MR in MR Sterling! And to whom it may concern, I LOVE Sushi.

As a little girl, I dreamed of being a wife and a mom. And for 10 wonderful years I enjoyed the privilege of being a stay at home mom to our four precious gifts from God. Now that our kids are in school, I am able to focus on the second part of my dream and work side by side with my husband, Micah. Each day we enjoy each other’s company as we serve others with the creative abilities God has given us.
